Retinal Detachment Symptoms Partial Retinal Detachment?

Partial Retinal Detachment? - retinal detachment symptoms

Gender: Female

Age: 60

Current Status:

Partial detachment of the retina of both eyes. Not the typical rhegmatogenous retinal detachment. Mine is a sort of exudative retinal detachment. There is fluid in the retina. According to the ophthalmologist, not an underlying disease such as viral, bacterial or other infectious disease that bears my condition, but doctors can not be the cause and treatment.

Range:

1. Two years ago I was with the wet form of AMD (macular degeneration associated with age diagnosed) and Treatment 13 injections of Lucentis received during the period of 18 months.

2. After no improvement with Lucentis, I received a single injection of steroid Kenalog, even without outside help.

3. Inflammation of the retina was always there when I started, the symptoms of retinal detachment in the right eye (black rings, flashing lights), and shadows in the corners of the eye, blockingPeripheral vision.

4. Then I went to a specialist who prescribed a different look than 60 mg of prednisone daily for two weeks.

5. Prednisone caused my worst state. There are more fluid, and retinal detachment in the left eye has also begun.

6. I have many tests (blood spots) were all negative. A recent test eye scan profile "pigment"
